It must be January.

I am feeling a bit better--I just know it's a great thing to have a husband that blesses my life in so many ways.  I know now that I need to be more patient, that I'm supposed to be doing something different right now than what I thought was so right for me.  It's not, at least not right now.

Because there's a person who knows better than me, and it was spoken very clearly to me last night while I was awake for 2 hours from 3:30 to 5:30 am.  (I've been sick--again.  And sleeping somewhat miserably.)  It was an experience I will never forget.  Everything will work out.  Everything will be fine.  I know that now.

On the plus side, as I drove to work today, I noticed all the trees glazed in white.  That's one of my very favorite parts of winter--all the ribbons of snow on tree branches.  It feels a bit magical.  Still, I wish it would snow a little more.

Also, I've decided that kids are my favorite subject to photograph.  Actually, I really love all sides of photography, but kids are just so genuine.  I really love that.  I think it would be fantastic to photograph kids for magazines (like Crewcuts).  Kids in funky outfits?  It doesn't get better than that.

See what I mean?  These photos always make me smile.

It's going to be a good Friday, I can tell.  I have a bunch of photos to catch up on this weekend, and I'll probably go on an outing with my housband and pup.  Have I told you lately how much I really like my dog?  I do.  He's a good boy, and so much fun to have around.

Happy Weekend.
