Coming soon to a theater near you...

My twin children.  Due in May.  Will probably come in April (but who knows?!).

To tell you the truth, this photo is a little old--from the beginning of October, actually.

Here are a couple updated ones.

This is baby A (on the right, he's* upside down).  He'll probably come first, since he's lower, the same one which was on the bottom in the previous photo.  You can see a little of baby B on the left there, but we didn't get any good ones with both in the same shot this last time.  *And yes, we think this one's a he.  Not 100% sure, but we think this one at least is a boy.

This is baby B.  We're not sure if this one is a boy or girl; the doctor said she thought it looked like a girl, but then changed her mind to boy.  I love this one's little hand by his/her face... looks like a little white dot, but that's a hand.  Sorry about the quality--I do have a scanner, but it's not even on the same floor of my apartment as my computer right now, so this is what you get.

The official ultrasound to find out genders is on December 12th.  We think it would be kind of fun to have one of each, but two boys (or girls) would be fantastico, too!

Best part of having twins:  ultrasounds at every doctor visit.

Worst part:  I'm pretty sure I'm going to be huge.  (But I will do it anyway.  Because I already love them.) (Side note:  I used to think, growing up, that when I got the chance to be pregnant with a child, I'd just eat a ton of cake and use it as an excuse to get REALLY FAT and eat whenever/whatever/however I wanted.  And then recently I realized all the horrors of what's wrong with that plan.)

Also, we are keeping our dogs, I don't know if I'll be working after they're born, we sold our other car and bought the subaru to accommodate all the BABIES coming up in our lives, and no, we weren't planning on twins.  (I didn't know you could "plan" on twins?)  If asked, my housband likes to say, "we were planning on the first one.  The second was just a bonus."

I'm not offended by questions, I just get asked a lot of the same ones.

We're excited.  Super-duper excited, you might say.
