A Few More Minutes...

I'm almost done working for today. Today has been a crazy day at work--it always is when I have to catch up.

Yesterday, I had a really great day. I feel more like myself when I have some time to do what I want... to not feel so rushed all the time. It was really, really nice. I went to a few stores, worked on a few things for my housband's birthday, wrapped his presents (maybe I'll take a photo of them... I really like the way they look! I might also be crazy...), caught up on some TV shows, took a nap, watched a thing from the presidential candidate of my choice... basically, a really good day.

I went to an antique store and found this thing that I really like. It's a tree, basically. A golden tree. I can't stop thinking about it, so I guess it's a good thing I bought it.

My favorite TV shows this fall are as follows:
Pushing Daisies (although I already really liked this one... I want season one for Christmas!)
Kath & Kim - I think this show is hilarious! Kind of dumb, too, but I laugh every week, all the way through the show.
And, of course, the usuals: Grey's, The Office, Say Yes to the Dress, 30 Rock...

And believe it or not, I DON'T watch TV all day long. DVR, what a blessing...

I am off to a sleepover with my grandma for Halloween. Word to your mother.

Happy Fall.

My gold tree.
[Sorry, this is just a snapshot!]

I tried to love Kath and Kim, but I only saw the last 3 minutes. I thought it was kinda weird.

Take a picture of your tree.

I love Kath and Kim too...I only made it through part of last weeks episode before I started getting crap from the 'man' of my house...figures...

I want to go antiquing [did you see any window panes?] I have an idea of something I want to make...

Also how big is this tree?? It looks lovely!

I'm pretty sure that the place I went to had window panes... that would be rad! And the tree is not too big... it goes up probably halfway up my forearm (is that a weird description? that's how I measure everything, by how long it is against my arm...).

We watch Kath & Kim together every week.. hahaha. Then again, we did watch a marathon of Rob & Big on Sunday.
